DuPont™ AmberChrom™ fine mesh anion exchange resins are microporous (gel) resins based on polystyrene crosslinked with DVB and functionalized with trimethylammonium chloride ligands. These ion exchange chromatography resins are used in the front-end of drug processes to help purify raw materials, adjust pH or desalt, remove surfactants from drug streams, and increase product purity and concentration in crude purifications. With its moderate crosslinking level, the AmberChrom™ 1x4 anion exchange series is an excellent choice for applications that need to process drugs and raw materials up to ~ 1400 Dalton molecular weight. There are four products in this series.
DuPont™ AmberChrom™ 1x4 50-100 Cl fine mesh resin has a large particle size and is an excellent choice for applications that need to process viscous or high molecular weight drugs with minimal backpressure. Screened with 50-100 mesh, approximate particle size range of 150-300 µm. See Product Data Sheet for details.
