DuPont™ AmberChrom™ 50Wx8 50-100 H Fine Mesh Ion Exchange Resin

 
 
 

DuPont™ AmberChrom™ fine mesh cation exchange resins are microporous (gel) resins based on polystyrene crosslinked with divinylbenzene (DVB) and functionalized with sulfonic acid ligands. These ion exchange chromatography resins are used in the front-end of drug processes to help purify raw materials, adjust pH or desalt, remove surfactants from drug streams, and increase product purity and concentration in crude purifications.  With its high crosslinking level, the AmberChrom™ 50Wx8 series provides the tightest resin network of the DuPont™ AmberChrom™ fine mesh cation exchange products and is an ideal choice for applications that need to process drugs and raw materials smaller than ~1000 Dalton molecular weight with minimal swelling.  There are three products in this 50Wx8 series.

DuPont™ AmberChrom™ 50Wx8 50-100 H  fine mesh resin has the largest particle size of the 50Wx8 fine mesh series and is an excellent choice for applications that need faster cation exchange kinetics than traditional resins with minimal increases in backpressure.  Screened with 50-100 mesh, approximate particle size range of 150-300 µm.  See Product Data Sheet for details.
