DuPont™ AmberChrom™ 50Wx4 50-100 H Fine Mesh Ion Exchange Resin

DuPont™ AmberChrom™ fine mesh cation exchange resins are microporous (gel) resins based on polystyrene crosslinked with divinylbenzene (DVB) and functionalized with sulfonic acid ligands. These ion exchange chromatography resins are used in the front-end of drug processes to help purify raw materials, adjust pH or desalt, remove surfactants from drug streams, and increase product purity and concentration in crude purifications.  With its moderate crosslinking level, the AmberChrom™ 50Wx4 series is an ideal choice for applications that need to process drugs and raw materials up to ~ 1400 Dalton molecular weight.   There are three products in this 50Wx4 fine mesh cation exchange series.

DuPont™ AmberChrom™ 50Wx4 50-100 H fine mesh resin has the largest particle size of the 50Wx4 series.  It is an excellent choice for applications that need to process viscous or high molecular weight drugs with minimal backpressure.  Screened with 50-100 mesh, approximate particle size range of 150-300 µm.  See Product Data Sheet for details.
